This fun competition looks simple, but can be very challenging. Hold a stein of beer STRAIGHT ARMED without spilling any beer or dropping your arm below a 90 degree angle FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN!! There will be a male and female contest running simultaneously and there will be Stein Holding Champions judging this event! The winning time of each round will get to keep the stein!

Prizes: The first-place winner of the men’s and women’s competition will enjoy 2 nights paid accommodation for October 13 and 14, as well as their entry fee to compete in the State Steinholding Championship!

As members of the U.S. Steinholding Association the winner of The Nashville Oktoberfest Masskrugstemmen will be eligible to compete in the State Championship Finals on October 14th, 2023 at Schulz Bräu in Knoxville, TN! The Schulz Bräu Oktoberfest beer will be flowing, and the winner of the men’s and women’s 2023 finals will be crowned the first ever Tennessee Steinholding State Champions!
