Alex Shor

Alex Shor is a cellist, pianist and accordionist from Oak Ridge, TN that currently resides in Franklin, TN. He regularly plays on all three instruments at restaurants, weddings, parties and other events in the area. He sits principal cello in the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra, where he has also won both their composition contest in 2019 and their concerto competition, soloing with them last year on Rhapsody in Blue. He also regularly plays cello with the Jackson Symphony, and recently played accordion in the Nashville Symphony production of Ratatouille live with the film!

Oompah Calypse

The Oompah-Calypse Oktoberfest Band is a lively and versatile group! Their repertoire of traditional German music blended with popular tunes and audience favorites makes for an entertaining experience at Oktoberfests and other events. Since 2019, the band brings the spirit of OOM-PAH to various venues across the Southeast. Their diverse musical offerings from polkas and waltzes to ‘polka-fied’ versions of show tunes, The Beatles, and pop music are sure to appeal to a wide range of audiences. Oompah-Calypse has built up a solid presence in the Tennessee Valley, central Alabama, and elsewhere, performing at Maxwell Air Force Base, Hohenwald, TN, The Cullman Oktoberfest, and numerous breweries and venues. Kraken’s Release
