Annual Pup Parade

Saturday @ 2 P.M

Join us for the Annual Pup Parade, where all dogs are invited to participate! Owners and their adorable pets, some adorned in matching costumes, will meet at the Court of 3 Stars (The Carillon) and march to the Magdeburg Stage at the south end of the Bicentennial Mall. Witness the whimsical and imaginative outfits these dogs, and some owners, wear as festival goers revel in their zany attire.

After the parade, our panel of judges will cast their votes and bestow prizes upon the dogs and their owners in three distinct categories. And as a festival goer, you have the opportunity to help choose the recipient of this year’s “Crowd Favorite” award.

Registration

All dogs welcome, costumes encouraged but not required.

  • Online Registration Deadline: 5PM on Friday

  • Fee per Pet: $30 in advance or $35 day of parade

  • Registrations also accepted in person at the Nashville Oktoberfest on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Red Rover tent on Jefferson Street

Categories

Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

  • Best German Costume
  • Best Costume (Dog & Handler)
  • Best “Naked Dog” – No Costume (Leash Required)
  • Best “Wiener Wanna Be” (best dachshund impersonator)
  • Crowd Favorite Dog

Prizes

Winners in each category receive the following prizes:

  • 1 hour dog training session from Red Rover Pet Services, LLC (valued at $150)
  • Dinner for 2 from Monell’s
