Annual Pup Parade
We love our dogs at Oktoberfest! While the dachshunds take center stage in their Derby on Sunday, all dogs are welcome to participate in the Annual Pup Parade. Owners & their pets, dressed in costume, march at the tail end (no pun intended!) of the regular Oktoberfest Parade. Festival goers love seeing the zany costumes these dogs wear as they march down the street. Following the parade, festival goers vote and award prizes to the dogs/owners in 4 different categories. Come out and watch, then help pick the winners!
Come watch the parade on Saturday at 1:00pm. Parade starts at 4th Ave. N. & Jefferson St. and goes to the stage at 7th and Jefferson St. Judging will follow immediately on the stage.
IT’S FREE TO ATTEND!
Want to march in the parade with your pet? We’d love to have you and furry friend join us….there are even prizes! Use the link at the bottom of this page to register your dog.
