Annual Pup Parade

October 9, 2021

We love our dogs at Oktoberfest! While the dachshunds take center stage in their Derby on Sunday, all dogs are welcome to participate in the Annual Pup Parade. Owners & their pets, dressed in costume, parade across the Main Stage at the corner of 5th Ave N and Jefferson Street. Festival goers love seeing the zany costumes these dogs wear as they march down the street. After the parade, the judges vote and award prizes to the dogs/owners in 3 different categories. Festival goers choose the “Crowd Favorite.” Come out and watch, then help pick the winners!

At 1:00 pm on Saturday, the world’s largest chicken dance will take place at the Main Stage followed immediately by The Pup Parade.

IT’S FREE TO ATTEND!

Want to march in the parade with your pet? We’d love to have you and furry friend join us….there are even prizes! Use the link at the bottom of this page to register.
