Oktoberfest Raises More than $50K For Local Organizations

Hundreds enjoy Oktoberfest in Germantown

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Oktoberfest took place this past weekend in Germantown, and it raised $60,000 dollars for three local organizations.

Numbers released Monday by Oktoberfest organizers showed that the thousands of German festival goers enjoyed hundreds of beers and brats.

A total of 143,000 people attended the festival. They drank 700 kegs of beer, and ate 6,200 brats. The festival raised $60,000 for the Germantown Church

of the Assumption, Germantown Historic Neighborhood Association, and Crossroads Campus at this year’s Oktoberfest in Germantown.
